MOTION DESIGNER - FOUNDER

Brooks Patton is an motion designer and creative director who helps clients across the country represent themselves in a way that is true to their company culture.

Brooks’s trajectory began in the Navy as a Mass Communications Specialist (MC) on the USS Enterprise where he spent 5 years and 2 deployments before being honorably discharged. From there he immediately began working as a contractor with/for CACI Inc, DECO, Specter, BMTF and DEA developing training programs and modules for US and Afghanistan border task forces. Wanting to diversify his experience Brooks went on to work as an art director at an advertising agency developing commercial and social content for clients ranging from local companies in Alaska to national companies such as McDonalds, MTV, Apple and Microsoft.

Brooks believes that every company, large or small, should approach their messaging as if they are competing on a national level—and by using best practices in marketing, branding, communication and design, he saw an opportunity to play a more direct role in helping clients produce more effective and higher quality communication materials.

To do this Brooks started his company Mother Wit. LLC in 2018 and has directed illustrators, designers, copywriters, and animators across the country to realize his vision.

Mother Wit. believes that the best work is done through collaboration. Though we work with many different freelancers, contractors and professionals we’d like to highlight a few incredibly talented freelancers we consider part of the team.
